Togue Recipe ( Sauteed Mongo Sprout)

Togue ( mongo sprout ) is a common vegetable available in Philippine local market, we usually include togue for cooking pritong lumpia, okoy, and for guisadong togue recipe.

Guisadong Togue Recipe Ingredient:

1 kg togue (clean)
2 tsp garlic, minced
1 medium size onion, sliced
2-3 pcs tokwa (bean curd)
2-3 tbsp oyster sauce
1 cup of shrimp, deshell and devein
250 gram liempo, cut into small cube
salt to taste

Preparation for Guisadong Togue Recipe:

Bring to boil liempo in a cup of water until water dries completely and start rendering its own oil and meat change its color into golden brown. Sautee garlic and onion, shrimp and add oyster sauce and simmer for few minute while continously stirring, add beancurd (tokwa) and 1 cup of water and bring to boil to simmer. Lastly add togue and vetsin, salt to taste and bring to boil and simmer for several minute until togue is done. Served togue recipe and enjoy.

Optional : Adding water is optional, if you prefer you togue recipe to be stir fry, just add togue with vetsin, salt to taste, stir fry until half cook and served crispy togue recipe while it is hot.
