Sinangag is the filipino terminology for fried rice and for chinese rice menu which is known as Yangchow. It is very popular among us filipino especially for breakfast. In my system of cooking sinangag you do not need to prepare any viand as the fried rice itself is full of flavour, Here how i prepare this filipino fried rice for breakfast- Sinangag.
Ingredient :
In a pot, fry scramble egg, set aside. Fry ham or bacon, set aside, In a separate pot cook longanisa on 1/2 cup of water, let the water dry and secrete its own oil to fry, add cooking oil if needed. In the same pot, sautee garlic, onion and add rice to stir fry. Add salt and continue cooking until rice has change its color has some crispyness, lastly add scramble egg, longanisa, ham or bacon and salt to taste. Served sinangag with coffee while it is still hot.

- 7 cup Left over rice
- 2 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 whole onion, sliced
- hamonado or longaniza
- 2 egg, slightly beaten
- 100 gram ham or bacon
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/4 tbsp salt
