Nilagang baka recipe is well known beef stew in Philippines, to make the nilagang baka more tasty i usually add beef spareribs aside from beef meat. The longer time the meat is being stew the more flavorful the broth it should be. Adding spare ribs is just an optional ingredient to make the broth tasty. Ingredient :
Wash the beef and spare ribs, add onion, salt, peppercon and bring to boil using pressure with 6 glass of water for 1 hour or until the beef tenderize. When the beef tenderize add potato to cook. When the potato tender include beef cubes,pechay and cabbage simmer for a minute and lastly add vetsin and salt to taste. Served nilagang baka recipe on a bowl while the broth still hot with patis and calamansi along with steamy white rice.

- 1 kg Beef (Sirloin), cubes
- 1 kg beef spareribs (optional), cut
- 1 pc onion
- 1 tbsp peppercorn
- 100 gram pechay
- 100 gram cabbage, cut
- 4 pcs potato. quartered
- 2 beef cubes
- vetsin and salt to taste
