Chicken Feet Black Bean Sauce

Chicken feet black bean sauce recipe is a popular food for Filipino, the main reason off course is due to economic reason (chicken feet is cheap in price in the Philippines), but aside for being unexpensive of this chinese recipe the main reason also is the flavor, I really like braised chicken feet especially when the sauce start to dry and thickened. Chicken feet black bean sauce recipe usually offered along side with other dim sum recipes. Anyway here is my method of preparing chicken feet black bean sauce recipe.

Ingredient :

  • Chicken feet clean and remove yellowish skin (cut into halves)
  • yellowish food Coloring
  • 2 tbsp of cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of Tausi ( Fermented Salted Black Bean)
  • 1 tbsp, chop ginger
  • soy sauce, 2 tbsp
  • 2 red hot chilli ( siling labuyo), chop
  • 4 cups of water
  • sanque 1 part
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Vetsin
Direction Of Cooking;

  • In a mixing bowl, mixed food coloring with the chicken feet, set aside.
  • Heat cooking on a pan, fry chicken feet .
  • Drain chicken feet to remove excess oil
  • In the remaining oil, sautee garlic, ginger, tausi, soy sauce, and red hot chillie, simmer for 2-3 minute.
  • Add 4 cups of water and sanque, boil and simmer for 5 minute.
  • Add chicken feet and sesame oil.
  • Bring it to boil and simmer until the sauce start to dry and thickened.
  • Lastly, add vetsin
Served chicken feet black bean sauce recipe hot with steamy rice.
