Even though curry powder is not really a popular food spice in the Philippines, chicken curry recipe has become a day to day filipino food viandin the Philippines. Chicken curry has its own unique flavor because of the mixture of curry flavor to tradional filipino recipe ingredient, coconut milk.

- 1 kg dressed chicken, cut into pcs
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- Fish Sauce
- Chicken cubes and vetsin
- 1 pc onion chopped
- 1 cup of water
- 2 pc potato cut into quarter
- 2-3 tbsp curry powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Salt to taste
Procedure of Cooking for Chicken Curry
- Heat oil in a pan, saute garlic, onion, chicken and add fish sauce.
- Cover to boil and simmer for 15 until the chicken tenderized
- Add 2 cups of water to boil and simmer for 10 minute to cook the chicken
- add potato and add (1/2 cup) of water if necessary until it tenderized
- Lastly, add coconut milk ,curry powder, vetsin and seasoning.
- Simmer and let it dry a liitle, taste and add salt if necessary.
Served newly cook chicken curry recipe on a platter with hot steamy rice.
