Stuffed Pepper on Minced Beef

Stuffed pepper minced beef recipe or rellenong sili, a well known american recipe which are comparable with are very own filipino recipe known as relleno, I learned preparing this recipe from my mother in law during my wedding day. To make the recipe more fun and colorful, you could always prepare the recipe with, red, green and red bell pepper.


Ingredients:

Bell pepper (different color), remove top portion and remove seeds. wash
2-3 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 medium size onion
1/2 kg ground lean beef
Phillips vienna sausage (slice)
50 grams pasas
Hard boiled egg
fish sauce
salt to taste
1/8 tsp ground peppercorn
vetsin (optional)
slice quick melt cheese
Canola oil

Direction of Cooking:

Saute garlic, onion then add ground beef. Cook for several minute until juice evaporated, add 1 cup water to tenderize ground beef or until it is done. Season with patis, ground peppercorn, pasas and vienna sausage. Let the mixture cool then scoop 1/2 tbsp of grated cheese as layer at bottom part of bell pepper, stuffed with minced beef to fill half portion of bell pepper, top with cheese and filled with cook beef mixture and layer with grated cheese at the top. Fill remaining bell pepper by doing the same procedure. Bake stuffed pepper using oven or convection oven at 250 degrees centrigade for 5-10 minute or until cheese has melt. Served stuffed pepper on minced beef along with other special recipe during special occasion. Enjoy.
