Ginataang Malungay

Here is another vegetable recipe that everybody will surely liked, not only for the reason of its unique taste that it offer as well for being affordable. Malungay is very organic and rich in iron that makes this recipe so healthy.

Ingredient for Cooking Ginataang Malungay

5 cups of malungay leaves
1 cup of gata
1 cup of kakang gata
1 /4 tbsp minced garlic
1-2 thumbsize ginger strips
100 gram liempo
1 onion, sliced
vetsin (optional)
1 tsp bagoong (shrimp paste) -optional-
2-3 siling labuyo
100 gram, labahita

Procedure for Cooking:

Bring to boil gata with garlic, onion, ginger, bagoong, liempo, labahita, siling labuyo. Stir to avoid gata from curding. Upon boiling add malungay leaves while continously stirring until the sauce boil. Add kakang gata, vetsin, salt to taste. Bring to boil until the sauce lessen by 75% and the sauce start to thicken. Served this delicious and spicy ginataang malungay while it is hot with newly cook rice, Enjoy.
