Kinilaw is a Filipino cooking terminology when cooking fresh raw fish using vinegar acidity, but vegetable such as labanos (radish) can be able to use for kilawin recipe, when it comes to vegetable recipe kinilaw na labanos is one of my favorite not for being so affordable but also for being so delicious . If you want to try this awesome filipino vegetable recipe just follow my step by step procedure.

Kinilaw na Labanos Ingredient:
- 2-3 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 medium size onion, sliced
- 1 kg labanos (radish)peeled and cut diagonally and thinly
- 250 gram liver, cut into small cube
- 250 gram pork liempo, cut into small cubes
- 2-3 tbsp patis
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp ground peppercorn
- vetsin
- 1 pc pork cube
Kilawin Labanos Cooking Procedure:
- In a pot, bring to boil slice liempo meat in 2 cups of water, let the water dry until meat start to render its own fat, remove pork from the pan and sautee garlic, onion. Add pork liver, boiled liempo meat and patis , cover pan to simmer for few minute. Add radish, 1 cup of water, vinegar, pork seasoning cube and bring to boil. Add water if the broth is too sour, salt to taste, add vetsin, ground peppercorn. Served kilawin na labanos while it is hot with hot steamy rice.
