Stuffed Squid Recipe

Here is another mouth watering recipe appetizer  that are so pupular in some bar in the Philippines. This stuffed squid recipe is just a result of my experiment when my husband take out some and ask me to copy. What i notice when i taste is the mixture of squid and cheese flavor that makes the taste different. Anyway as i have said this squid recipe is only an experiment w/c i really loved and i hoped you will like it.


Stuffed Squid Recipe Ingredient :

  • 1 kg fresh squid (preferably 8 inches long)
  • 2-3 tbsp of Cheezewhiz for each squid or  2-3 tbsp of quickmelt cheeze( sliced)
  • 5 pcs Onion , diced
  • 3 thumb size Ginger,skinned and diced
  • 5 ripen tomato, slice
  • Salt to taste
  • Worceshire salt
  • 50 grams prunes/pasas
  • Aluminum foil
  • 1 tsp of ground peppercorn
  • 1 pack of Vetsin or Monosodium Glutamate
Procedure of Cooking Stuffed Squid Recipe

Clean out  the squid. gently turn the squid body inside out to fully clean and marinate with worceshire sauce, refrigerate for 2 - 3 hours. In a separate bowl mix all of the ingredient and gently placed the stuff inside the squid. Add 2-3 tbsp of cheeze inside the squid and wrap using aluminum foil. Grilled squid recipe for 25-30 minute, turn on opposite side and grill for another 25-30 minute. Served stuffed squid recipe while hot with a bottle of beer.
