Pinangat na Isda Recipe

There are so many ways of cooking fish, and one of simplest is Pinangat na isda.  In cooking Pinangat, it won’t take so much of your time and it is also not expensive. It is healthy and delicious meal for everybody. 

Pinangat na Isda Recipe Ingredients:
·        1/2 kg Hasa Hasa (Short bodied mackerel)
·        6 pcs. Tomatoes, chopped
·        4 pcs. onions, chopped
·        3 pcs. siling pangsigang (long green chili)
·        1/2  cup water
·        Salt to taste
·        Vetsin (Monosodium Glutamate)

Procedure of cooking Pinangat na Isda

1.   Clean the fish (Hasa Hasa)
2.   In a cooking fan, arrange tomatoes, onions, hasa hasa, and siling pangsigang.
3.  Stewed fish from ½ cup water, salt and vetsin.  Simmer for 15 – 20 minutes.
4.  Taste, add salt if necessary
5.   Serve newly cook pinangat na isda with patis and sili along with hot steamy  rice.
