Tahong or Asian green mussell is a common seafood on Filipino recipes, fresh tahong is usually sold along on coastal rd. going to Cavite and on every local market any where in Philippines. I have a nutritious recipe on with in affordable that every might surely like
Ingredient:
1 kg tahong (wash)
1 bundle kangkong leaves (wash)
3 pcs fried tokwa cake, slice into 6 pcs each
3-4 tbsp oyster sauce
1-2 tbsp garlic (minced)
1 onion, peeled and slice
1 thumb size ginger, peeled and cut into small strips
Cooking oil
Vetsin (optional)
How to Cook Tofu with Tahong Recipe:
In a pre heated pan, saute garlic, ginger, and onion. Add tahong and simmer until it opens, include kangkong , oyster sauve and simmer until kangkong is done. Add vetsin if desire, served tahong tofu with oyster sauce on a platter with hot steamy rice.
