Filipino especially Bicolano's known for their affection for spicy with coconut milk recipe, it could pork, seafoods, beef and vegetable. I have my own recipe that I usually prepare for my husband that he truly like, It is so simple and yet so delicious.
Ingredient for Fish on Coconut Milk:
1 kg Tilapia, scaled cut into halves
Cooking oil
3-4 minced siling labuyo
1tbsp bagoong (shrimp paste)
1 cup coconut milk
1/4 kg Pechay
1-2 tbsp minced garlic
2-3 tbsp slice red onion
1-2 thumb size ginger, cut into strips
salt
vetsin (optional)
How to Cook Fish with Coconut Cream
Rub tilapia with salt and fry, set aside. Saute garlic, onion, and ginger,. Add bagoong and simmer for few minute, add coconut milk (gata) and stir to avoid curding. Add fried fish and simmer unti sauce decreases by half, add siling labuyo then add pechay after a minute. Add vetsin and salt if needed, served spicy fish on coconut milk with hot steamy rice. Enjoy.
