Ginataang suso is another authentic Filipino recipe, it is so popular in the province and in Metropolis aswell, I just finish my lunch with ginataang kuhol. It is so delicious and I want to share how exactly I cook this recipe.
Ginataang Kuhol Ingredient
2 kg kuhol (edible snail)
2 cup kakang gata (coconut cream)
2 cup coconut milk (gata)
2-3 tbsp minced garlic
1 whole onion
3-4 thumb size ginger, peeled and cut
1 bundle of kangkong, separate leaves from stalk, cut stalk into 1 inch long
1/4 cup of bagoong
Vetsin
salt to taste
Procedure For Cooking Ginataang Suso
Dip snail in a bucket of water overnight, clean snail shell, wash thoroughly. In a pan sautee, garlic, onion, and ginger, then add bagoong and simmer for few minute. Add gata and bring to boil, include snail to boil and simmer, when the broth almost dry include coconut cream, kangkong and siling labuyo to simmer again until sauce almost dry, add vetsin and salt depending on your taste, Served newly cook ginataan na kuhol with hot steamy rice, enjoy.
