Sopas is a well known popular filipino soup recipe especially fo kids, it is usually cook with macaroni elbow along with any kind of meat of your choice. I remember when I am stii a kid my mother always prepare chicken sopas for a belief that sweating can make me well. Sopas Filipino Ingredient:
- 1 kg beef spare ribs
- 2-3 tbsp miced garlic
- 1 whole onion, sliced
- 1/4 kg cabbage
- 1 carrot, peel and slice 1" strips
- 250 gram macaroni elbow
- 1 small can evap milk
- 1 beef bouillon
- 2-3 tbsp butter
- Hard boiled egg
Sopas Recipe Procedure for Cooking
- In a casserole , boil beef spareribs in 6 glass if water and simmer for 45 minute to extract flavor.
- Cook macaroni on separate pot, drain and set aside
- Sautee using pan with butter garlic, onion, patis and add spare ribs and cover to simmer for 5 minute
- Add broth and cook for another 10 minute
- Add vetsin, carrots, cabbage and cook fo 1-2 minute.
- Add beef bouillon, evap milk and salt to taste
