Filipino loved Chinese food very much, Filipino adopt some of their recipe on day to day food. Among the most popular Chinese food for Filipino is chopsuey, beef mami, siopao, asado and a lots more. I have here a recipe that I know you will truly like that are very popular on some of local Chinese restaurant in Metro Manila known as Beef broccoli on oyster sauce.
Ingredient
Onion, quartered
1 tomato quartered
1/2 kg broccoli
1/4 kg beef lean meat strips
1 thumbsize ginger, cut into strips
canola oil
Aji -ginisa
Vetsin
1 cup beef stock
1/4 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 cup water with 2 tbsp cornstarch for thickening
salt
How to Cook Beef Broccoli
In casserole, bring to boil beef strips until the beef tenderize, set aside broth for later use. Ina pan with canola oil stir fry broccoli, onion, tomato. Season beef with aji-ginisa, salt and stir fry, set aside. Bring to boil 1-2 cup of beef stock and ginger, add oyster sauce and simmer for 1-2 minute. Add slurry to thickened sauce. In serving platter mix together stir fry beef , vegetable and pour thickened sauce at the top. Served beef broccoli with hot steamy rice.
