I have here my mothers version for preparing vegetable soup recipe which she always prepare. She prepares vegetable soup recipe to compliments dry recipes such as fried chicken or barbeque. Here's how to make vegetable soup Filipino style.

In a pan, sautee garlic, onion and shredded chicken meat, pour in patis (fish sauce) and cover to simmer for 5 - 10 minute. Add Chicken broth and elbow macaroni, potato, carrots to boil until noodles is almost done. Lastly, add cauliflower, green bean, cabbage, chicken cubes seasoning. Boil and simmer for 1-2 minute then add salt according to taste, ground pepper, evaporated milk and vetsin. Serve chicken and vegetable recipe while it is hot.
Ingredient :
- 1 /2 kg chicken breast, boiled and shreded (Keep chicken sock for later use)
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- 2-3 tbsp garlic
- 1 whole onion, slice
- 2-3 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 1/2 cup of elbow macaroni noodle
- 2 pcs medium size potato, cut into cube
- 150 gram shredded cabbage or chinese cabbage
- 1 medium size potato, julienne
- 1 pc redbell pepper
- 100 gram green bean,
- 100 gram cauliflower, cut from the stalk and shredded
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- Chicken cube seasoning
- 1 small can evap. milk
- salt to taste
